itdesign GmbH has received the TISAX® certification for the processing of security-relevant information. TISAX® stands for Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange and serves the cross-company recognition of assessment results for information security in the automotive environment. Information security plays a particularly important role in the automotive industry. With the VDI ISA questions catalogue, the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has defined a common standard for information security in the automotive industry, the fulfillment of which is tested by accredited testing service providers as part of the TISAX® model.
“For itdesign, confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information have a high value,” reports Tobias Hüttner, CIO of itdesign GmbH. The Tübingen-based cloud software company has therefore taken extensive measures to protect sensitive or confidential information and therefore also complies with the question catalogue of information security of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA ISA). The assessment was conducted by audit service provider TÜV Süd. “We are pleased to have met the high requirements of the audit,” explains Tobias Hüttner.
Since TISAX® results are not public information, the result can only be accessed via the ENX portal.
