itdesign is an innovative and internationally operating software company. We offer our own software products, as well as those of our partners, in the fields of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and PPM (Project and Portfolio Management). We develop, consult and implement. Our own cloud software, Meisterplan, is used by companies and organizations worldwide.
Whether we’re programming ourselves or customizing standard software, we work together with our customers to make projects a success.
itdesign was founded in Tübingen in 1999. 230 employees work at our Tübingen headquarters and additional locations in Zwickau, Seattle, Toronto, and New Delhi.

Johannes Koppenhöfer and Dr. Jörg Leute are fascinated by how new technologies can help people do their jobs. They found itdesign GmbH and, thanks to some good ideas, soon become development partners of CAS Software AG. This partnership still exists today.itd client pro

2003 a customer asks if itdesign can also implement project portfolio management systems. Yes, we can! itdesign becomes a partner for the US software Clarity, which today belongs to Broadcom. Since then PPM is part of our DNA.Gold Partner of CAS Software AG

We not only implement PPM software, but also contribute to it ourselves. Since 2010 itdesign is a technology partner of Clarity PPM and develops addons and individual customizations. Each addon solves a specific problem at our customers.The birth of Meisterplan „Make plans that work!“ In 2012, we launch our first own cloud-based software solution Meisterplan, taking the step from consultant and service provider to software manufacturer.
Tübingen and Toronto
In 2016, we move to our modern new company headquarters in the heart of Tübingen. At the same time, our first international location is opened in Toronto: Meisterplan takes its first steps in the North American market.Extended management team for a growing company
In 2017 and 2018, Christoph Adamczyk and Dr. Christoph Hirnle join the management board.Foundation of Meisterplan USA Inc.
itdesign goes global! 2018 Meisterplan USA Inc. is founded with offices in Houston and Seattle. Our cloud software Meisterplan is now used as a leading Lean PPM tool worldwide.More locations in Germany
In 2019 and 2020, we continue to grow and open sites in Zwickau and Mainz. Today, around 180 employees work at six locations worldwide.India opens doors to itdesign!
2021, itdesign Meisterplan India Private Limited is founded with office in New Delhi. Our Clarity PPM implementation and support requests are now catered to by surging talent from India too.Great Place to Work
