International growth at Tübingen-based itdesign GmbH: In the summer of last year, the subsidiary itdesign Meisterplan India private limited was founded with headquarters in New Delhi. The company aims to attract IT talent from India to work closely with the Tübingen teams, especially in the environment of the American PPM software Clarity, for which itdesign is the leading development and implementation partner in Europe.
The initiative for the foundation of the subsidiary goes back to some Indian employees who have already been working for itdesign in Tübingen for years. For example, Shilpa Ramisetti: born in Guntur in India, she came to Germany in 2015 and has been working for the Tübingen-based IT company ever since. Ramisetti: “We have close professional and private contacts in India and know that there are many Clarity specialists there. These are exactly the people we are looking for.”
itdesign Managing Director Dr. Jörg Leute was enthusiastic about the proposal: “We first consulted with some customers, who encouraged us in our plan. We are not interested in relocating parts of our business; on the contrary, we are also looking for personnel in Tübingen and at our other locations. However, our new subsidiary gives us the opportunity to operate specifically in the Indian talent market as well, while becoming even more international.” itdesign also has subsidiaries in Canada as well as in the USA.
The math works out: Three new colleagues have already been hired by itdesign Meisterplan India private limited. They work in software development as well as service and support for Clarity PPM. “We are currently in further talks with potential new employees,” says Leute.
