A good climate for innovation, processes and methods that promote innovation and innovation success: These are just some of the categories in which the “Top 100” competition evaluates medium-sized companies in Germany. The Tübingen-based cloud software company itdesign also received the award this year.
The assessment was carried out by innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. “Are the companies able to create new products, new services, new processes and new business models? And are these achievements just coincidences or the result of a structured and targeted approach? These are the questions we examine at TOP 100,” says Franke, explaining the procedure for the review. It is also important how and whether innovations and product improvements have been able to establish themselves on the market. The official award ceremony will be held on June 28 in Weimar by science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar.
itdesign was founded in Tübingen in 1999 and today has around 230 employees. The internationally active software company offers both its own software products and those of partner companies in the areas of CRM (customer relationship management) and PPM (project and portfolio management). The self-developed cloud software Meisterplan is now used by companies and organizations worldwide.
